Biography

Daniel is an Associate Professor and ARC Future Fellow at University of New South Wales Sydney. His work focuses on describing, both empirically and in process-based models, how plant traits structure an individual’s life cycle, and how communities with diverse trait- and species mixtures are assembled. He is a co-founder of the international Open Traits Network, lead developer of Austraits, and contributor to several other open data resources.
