Biography

Ian is a Professor in the Department of Biological Science at Macquarie University. As a plant functional ecologist, his core interests include understanding plant ecological strategies via function traits, investigating trait-environment relationships from local to global scales, and the consequences of trait variation for ecosystem properties.
